Paymentwall has partnered with Shopify to allow businesses to easily accept payments easily through Paymentwall’s supported payment methods, such as credit cards, SMS payments, prepaid and cash methods, bank transfers and e-wallets.


Prerequisites

  • In order to use the Paymentwall Shopify Plugin, you need to have an active Shopify account. If you do not have one, please . create an account.
  • You’ll also need a Paymentwall account. You can register here: Paymentwall SignUp.

Step 1: Set up your shop

You can start setting up your shop using the instructions from Shopify’s getting started tutorial.


Step 2: Install the Paymentwall Shopify plugin

  • Click here to install Paymentwall plugin in your shopify store, you will be presented with a login Page.

  • After you log in to your shop, you will be prompted to install the credentials from your Paymentwall Shopify project settings. At this point if you don’t have a Paymentwall Shopify project, please use this link to create a shopify project in your Paymentwall account.

Step 3: Configure the plugin

  • After the plugin is installed, you should be redirected to the following page.

  • Copy and paste the Project and Secret Key from the Paymentwall Shopify project into the respective fields in your Paymentwall Shopify plugin configuration.

  • Select “Activate” test mode in order to test your integration in test mode and save the Plugin configuration.

Step 4: Configure Paymentwall Shopify project settings.

  • Once you activate Paymentwall integration in Shopify, the below settings need to be setup in your Paymentwall Shopify project.

    • In Settings section, use your Shopify webstore URL for the Website URL field (e.g. https://mystore.myshopify.com).

    • Set your project type to Digital Goods.

    • Set Pingback type to URL.

    • Configure your Pingback URL to http://mystore.myshopify.com

    • Choose the Pingback Signature Version to version 3.

    • Click Save Changes

Step 5: Configure Delivery Confirmation

Delivery Confirmation API allows you to notify Paymentwall about successful delivery of the purchased item(s) to the user. This information helps us resolve dispute cases and refund requests in the fastest and the most efficient manner.

Step 6: Let’s Go Live!

You can start to test payments of your projects.
