Multibanco

Multibanco is an interbank network in Portugal that links the ATMs of 27 banks in Portugal. The multibanco references are made up of numbers that identifies an entity, a payment reference and a payment amount. These numbers can be printed on invoices or displayed in online stores, allowing the payer to make the payment of purchases from his home banking or any ATM in Portugal.

Payment flow
